This ukBrew Lager kit makes 40 pints (23 litres) of an English style lager with classical hop flavours, a refreshing finish and is best served chilled. This classic light barley beer has a moderate level of maltiness with well balanced hops and a great foam to the head.

ukBrew beer kits are packed in a plastic standing pouch to enable the manufacturer to use a minimum of packaging material which is suitable for recycling. This kit will require the addition of 1Kg of brewing sugar or beer kit enhancer in order to make it.

  • Size: 40 pint
  • ABV: 5.0%
  • Bitterness: 20 - 25 EBU
  • Colour: 6 - 10 EBC

This kit contains:

  • Full instructions
  • 1 x pouch of malt extract
  • 1 x sachet of dried brewing yeast

In order to make this kit you may need:

  • Sterilizing powder
  • Brewers bucket
  • Water
  • Sugar, spray malt or beer kit enhancer
  • Syphon
  • Hydrometer
  • Carbonation drops / priming sugar for the bottles or barrel
  • Bottles or Barrel

Please note all necessary equipment is available in our #6 Kit - Premium Beermaking Set (if you want to use a Keg) or our #4 Kit - Winemaking Set and some bottles if you want to bottle it after brewing.
