The Nelson Sauvin is an excellent dual purpose hop, grown in New Zealand providing both intense, distinct flavour characteristics as well as high alphas. An excellent all-rounder, this hop is able to produce big punchy Ales as well as subtle yet bitter Lagers. In a nutshell Nelson Sauvin can be described as a “quintessentially New Zealand” variety.

Hop pellets are destalked ground hops pressed into little pellets. Use about 10 % less than you would when using leaf hops with a similar alpha level. Hop pellets can be preserved longer and are usually available for a longer period of time during the course of the season.

Alpha acid Range 10-13%
