Developed in Oregon, USA with parentage derived from Fuggles and Serebrianker hops Cascade was released in 1971 and introduced into British production in 2002. Primarily used as an aroma hop, Cascade has intense but rounded citrus, lychee and floral characteristics and delivers a smooth integrated bitterness.

Alpha Acid Range 5-9%

Hop pellets are destalked ground hops pressed into little pellets. Use about 10% less than you would when using leaf hops with a similar alpha level. Hop pellets can be preserved longer and are usually available for a longer period of time during the course of the season.
