These Solomon Grundy Gold wine kits are designed to be ready to drink in 7 days - start the fermentation on day 1, it’s finished by day 5, is cleared and ready to drink by Day 7 but it will improve if you can resist temptation and leave it for a couple of weeks before drinking.

The Solomon Grundy Gold Range of wine kits simply require the addition of 600 to 770gm of sugar along with water to make them.

This equipment set contains:

• 1 x 5 litre fermenting bin with lid fitted with grommet (to take airlock)
• 1 x 5 litre fermenting bin with plain lid
• 1 x Syphon tube with tap (long version for ease of use)
• 1 x 6 chamber Bubbler Airlock
• 1 x 100g Sodium Percarbonate No Rinse Steriliser or VWP
• 1 x Stevenson-Reeves Hydrometer
• 1 x Trial Jar measuring cylinder
• 1 x Funnel (food grade)

In order to make this kit you may need:

• 6 x Clean, empty, screw-top wine bottles or similar (for storing finished product)
• 600 to 770gm of sugar (white granulated if fine)
• Water
