In stock
This Youngs branded 33 litre Fermentation Vessel (also known as a fermenting bin or fermenting bucket) is made from food grade polypropylene, is printed with graduation markings up both sides and is supplied complete with a lid which is pre-drilled and fitted with a grommet for use with an airlock (which is not supplied but which can be purchased seperately under the SKU 206001). The graduations start at the 5 litre point and then are spaced every 5 litres up to the 25 litre mark, there are also graduations at the gallon points starting at 1 gallon and then spaced every gallon up to the 5 gallon mark.
Being 33 Litre capacity means that it can comfortably be used when brewing any 40 pint (23 Litre) beer kit or 30 bottle wine kit whilst leaving plenty of room for the head that invariably develops and it can also be used for racking the finished brew off into.
Grab handles are moulded into the vessel, one on each side, to assist with moving.
Dimensions (approx.) are 380mm (diameter top - not including handle mounts), 322mm (diameter bottom), 390mm (height). Capacity to the brim is 33 litres.
