CaraGold malt has an up-front maltiness which are balanced by delicate notes of muscovado sugar, maple syrup and an infusion of nuts and dried fruits.
This malt increases the body and fullness of beer it is used in and gives a softer, rounder mouthfeel to the finished product.
It is used in all sorts of Lagers. CaraGold malt should make up no more than 10% of total malt content of your brew.
This malt is produced by Warminster Malts, has a colour of between 10 and 17 EBCs and is supplied ready crushed in 500g, 1Kg, 3Kg and 5Kg packs and 25Kg sacks.
