Bigger Jugs was founded in 2009. Like many of the best ideas, it was born out of frustration when our local home brew shop closed down. With nowhere convenient to buy equipment and supplies, we decided to create our own.
From those small beginnings, we’ve grown into a business that processes more than 35,000 orders each year.
We’ve always been family owned and run. However, today we operate from dedicated premises in Ilminster, with a small team of dedicated and passionate full-time staff that handles order processing and customer service. That means you can expect your orders to arrive quickly — and if you contact us, you’ll get a fast reply.

Dave
MD and the driving force behind the business
Bigger Jugs was originally David's idea and have always been very much his baby. His drive and enthusiasm has pushed the business from a simple discussion topic over a pint at the pub to a major player in the UK home brew market place. Always looking for the next new product Dave is the driving force always aiming to improve customer experience and choice.
Helen
Customer Services and Inventory Control
Helen is one of the founding staff members of Bigger Jugs and as a result wears a couple of hats, which she tells us she does with some style. Along with Kayleigh, Helen answers all customer service calls, emails and queries and believes that the only stupid question is one that is not asked. Helen is also responsible for inventory control so being out of stock of an item unexpectedly is very rare and her ability to source what the customer needs is second to none.
Rickie
Warehouse Manager
Rickie has worked here for a couple of years now and is an enthusiastic member of the team. He manages all aspects of the warehouse from the arrival of new deliveries to the processing of customer orders. He manages our dedicated team of packing staff with good humour and is always game for a laugh.
Kayleigh
Accounts and Customer Services
Kayleigh has learned the ropes here at Jugs over the last year and is an invaluable member of the team dealing with the company accounts and customer services. Always ready to turn her hand to whatever needs to be done Kayleigh is a real team player which is what we like here at team Bigger Jugs.
